[SOLVED] Problems with xterm and terminus font Hi, For some reason I can't get my xterms to display the terminus font correctly. It mainly shows up when I display man pages, all the dash characters show up as filled black boxes. It happens with other stuff too though. I've been asking in the IRC channel, but so far, no luck. Just other people confirming that it works for them. I'm using fluxbox to start my xterm, and in.Xresources I have 'xterm.faceName: terminus:pixelsize=14'.
I've got the default terminus-font package installed. Xterm is using the font at the correct size, it is just not displaying some characters.
My locale is set to 'enUS.UTF-8'. After spending hours searching the web for this, I'm left completely clueless as to what may be wrong. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Yesterday I've decided to try using urxvt, and that actually works. I've now got this in.Xresources: urxvt.font: -.-terminus-medium-.-.-.-14-.-.-.-.-.-.-. xterm.font: -.-terminus-medium-.-.-.-14-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

And then when I try this in bash: printf ' u2010 u2011 u2012 u2013 u2014 u2015 u2016 u2017 u2018 n' I get dash like characters in urxvt, and non-printable characters (displayed as black boxes) in xterm. Maybe you are looking for.
Hi, My roommate and I both have Macbooks - I got mine in June '06, it's one of the older black 80 gb models and hers is a white 120 gb that she got in August '07. We bought a mini-DVI to video adapter so we could watch DVDs and video files on our TV,. I need a card for both and I can't find one that is 'approved' for both. Is anyone using these two programs together? I'm currently using a pair of ATI FireGL V3350 cards that, so far, play video fine in Premiere (haven't done any editing or AE yet).
